"If All That I Would Want To Do Would Be To Sit And Talk To You ...Would You Listen?"- Ann Ashford

Everyone Deserves A Home

That’s my mission statement and it’s harder to achieve than I could have ever imagined, but it gets to the very core of my character.  It’s so evident in my passion for rescue animals – I have two pets. Sage is my rescue dog Chow and Faith is the rescue cat.

I have faith that people who belong in one’s life will find you and that they will stay. When we build strong relationships in business, over time, we build trust and loyalty between one another. Those relationships matter more than sales.

Trust is sadly lacking in the real estate industry, right now. Many realtors chase anybody with a warm pulse and conduct business at arm’s length. The millionaire-mindset realtor. The quick fix. The hustle. Here today, gone tomorrow, with a pocketful of change.

I can’t work like that – for me, it requires going ‘deep’ to understand both the buyer and the seller’s situation. If that takes time, it takes time John Mackey & Raj Sisodia called it Conscious Capitalism. “Picture a business built on love and care, rather than stress and fear…Think of a business that cares profoundly about the well-being of its customers, seeing them not as consumers but as flesh-and blood human beings whom it is privileged to serve. It would no more mislead, mistreat, or ignore its customers than any thoughtful person would exploit loved ones at home.” That’s the successful real estate business I’m in the process of creating here in Hamden. Attracting like-minded realtors that think the way I do. And who have a passion for people, as well as for property. That’s the path to trust in our community. I don’t want a better real estate business – just a different one.

Everybody deserves a home. Whether that be first-time buyers, second or third time, I’m here to guide you through the stress of making the move.

I offer an honest opinion and a holistic approach to making your dream home a reality. When I hand over the keys, I’m hoping it doesn’t end there.

Still hoping that if all that I would want to do, would still be to sit and talk to you. Hoping you still would be listening. I know it’s time. Time for a new way of approaching real estate here in Hamden. Time to focus on who should we appoint as a realtor to sell your home, rather than how will they sell it.
